The Meals on Wheals Program is eligible to

anyone in need of a meal. 

  • Meals are prepared fresh daily

  • They are delivered between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to the homes of participating persons

  • Eligible participates include anyone recuperating at home from an illness/injury and are unable to cook or shop

  • Included participates are also persons who have difficulty with a special diet, such as a diabetic patient

  • Disabled patients may also receive meals

  • The full cost of the program is $3.98 per day per meal, however the cost can be adjusted based on an individual basis.

We are looking for volunteer drivers for our Meals on Wheels program. Drivers would be needed on Monday, every other Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:00pm until 5:00pm. Volunteers must be willing to have a background check that is offered through the American Red Cross. If interested, please call Amanda at 814-368-6197.

 

Donations are always welcome to our Meals on Wheels program!  You can support our drivers by donating gas gift cards, or donating directly to the Chapter House to help pay our volunteers' gas bills.
